Embraer Announces Largest Order of Executive Jets and Gains Value on the Stock Market

US$ 7 billion order boosts company shares by nearly 15%

Embraer continues to strengthen its presence in the global aviation market. After significant growth in 2024, with a 150% appreciation of its EMBR3 shares on the Ibovespa, the company registered a new increase of nearly 15% on Wednesday (02/05), driven by a significant contract with Flexjet.

The deal, estimated at US$ 7 billion (approximately R$ 40.6 billion), marks the largest executive jet order ever made in Embraer's history. With the acquisition of 182 aircraft, Flexjet plans to double its fleet over the next five years.

The chosen models include the Praetor 600, Praetor 500, and Phenom 300E, as well as a full services and support package.

The relationship between Embraer and Flexjet is long-standing. According to Forbes, the partnership began in 2003, when the then Flight Options became the first company to incorporate the Legacy Executive jet into its fleet.

Market Impact

The announcement of the contract generated great repercussion in the financial sector, being seen as a positive indicator for Embraer's stability and growth. As a result, the company's shares skyrocketed this afternoon.

The US$ 7 billion from this new deal adds to the manufacturer's already robust backlog, which includes US$ 4.4 billion in orders in the executive segment, US$ 3.6 billion in the Defense area, and US$ 11.1 billion in commercial aviation.

Experts from XP Investimentos highlighted that this negotiation reinforces the strong demand for executive jets and increases Embraer's revenue predictability for the coming years. Furthermore, the recent expansion of its production capacity corroborates this growth movement.

"We believe that this announcement improves revenue visibility, reduces operational risks, and reinforces the company's positive outlook for the coming years," a report from XP pointed out.

Itaú BBA also highlighted the positive impact of the negotiation, considering it a factor that strengthens investor confidence in Embraer. According to the institution, executive aviation and service offerings are essential vectors for the company's growth.
